December 22, 2009 – SpaRetailer magazine and the International Hot Tub Association are happy to announce they have reached a partnership agreement. The agreement makes SpaRetailer the official trade magazine for IHTA. SpaRetailer and the IHTA are both committed to protecting the hot tub industry and helping it grow and succeed thus joining forces.
"Given that both IHTA and SpaRetailer magazine are devoted exclusively to promoting the hot tub industry, it just makes sense for us to take a more active role,” says David Wood, publisher of SpaRetailer.
IHTA Executive Director Mitch Brooks agrees saying, “The IHTA’s Board of Directors saw this as a natural fit and since membership growth is our number one priority, this agreement will give us the maximum exposure to those potential members we are contacting to join.”
Most of the agreement is based on mutual promotion and support between the two organizations. SpaRetailer has also committed to giving free subscriptions to IHTA members. The partnership does not impact SpaRetailer’s editorial coverage of the industry in any way.
“On behalf of the IHTA Board of Directors, we thank SpaRetailer magazine for their generous donation of promotion and support of our association. The mission of the IHTA is so important to protect the portable hot tub industry today and in the future,“ Brooks says.
"We are very excited and humbled that the IHTA has selected SpaRetailer to become their official association magazine,” Wood says. “We look forward to a great partnership over coming years."
